The Mummers' Party
at Áirc Damhsa Culture Club
Come to the Mummers' Party and learn how to be a Leitrim Mummer. There'll be Mummers' straw hat making, costume designing, music, song, dance and drama with teachers and members of Áirc Damhsa and you'll even write your own Mummers' play. Everything you need to be ready for mumming this Christmas with your family and friends!
Saturday 10th June
11 - 2pm
Location: Mayflower Hall Drumshanbo if it's raining or Mount Allen Eco Farm if it's sunny. (5 mins from Mayflower Hall Drumshanbo)
For ages 8 - 18 years.
All nationalities welcome!
Parents must attend if child is under 12 (you'll learn how to make a straw hat and be a Mummer too!)
Note: Bring old clothes, rags and anything you have at home that you want to reuse / recycle that could play a role in your own costume design. If you play music then bring your instruments too.
